“Planting a seed” the young taking part in the conservation of Batwa culture
Sheshera is a daughter to Sembagare, she is a graceful dancer, and singer. She is part of the young generation and the next keeper of Batwa culture.
At 16 years, she enjoys dancing at social events alongside her elders. As a young mutwa, she has only had stories about the forest from her elders, but has never experienced it.
However, she is aware of the plight of their vanishing identity as a people and plays her part in protecting her heritage.
